Netiva - Career Guidance and Employment Training for Young Women

The NETIVA INITIATIVE encourage female high school graduates to pursue vocational
training or academic education. Our goal is to reduce poverty and ensure the future economic stability and independence of these vulnerable young women and their families.

“Nativ” means pathway. This ground-breaking program identifies and supports young women in attaining a fulfilling career.

Within the Haredi community, approximately 10,000 girls graduate high school annually. Over a quarter of them do not continue their education or enroll in vocational training. Most will endure a life of poverty and economic instability.                                      

Their true stumbling block is psychological. Young women in the periphery have been conditioned to believe that they are incapable of improving their situation. They lack an awareness of the value of professional training, or how to acquire a profession.
